mn | I think a combination of both. Bigcorn02 was the one I saw harvest results from and I know he was dry. We will have some ready next week. This area has had a lot of sudden death also.
Talking with a seed rep yesterday and we agreed that the once MASSIVE potential for the corn crop here has pulled back. The corn just got pushed WAY to fast. We have had near perfect growing conditions and yet April planted 101 day corn is at 27% moisture as of two days ago. That is unheard of for this area. Ears are filled to the tip and big. But the dents are deeper than normal and kind of wrinkled like is just got mature way too fast. | |
