someone is lying, but who is it?

The International grains council shows that china is projected to carryover 172.2 million metric tons which is 60% of their projected useage of 287.2 Million Metric Tons. Imports are projected at 7 million metric tons. we have exported roughly
1.9 million metric tons up from .2 million metric tons last year at the same time. So if the International grain council information is right why are they importing so much more corn than in previous years in line with the Reuters report. 30 million tons short would imply a massive lie in the amount of corn stocks that China has been reporting to the world.

As I recall In 2016 the Usda changed their numbers for China’s corn stock to match China’s numbers which were much higher. It was questionable at the time but overlooked.
