This thread talks about data cards for Pro600 monitors. Don’t get the cheapest card your can find, get a reputable name brand. You either want an ATA flash card, or a compact flash card with an ATA to Compact Flash adapter. Compact Flash readers are less expensive so I’d go that route.
What monitor runs the EZGuide 500? I’ve seen several growers send the gps signal from their Trimble monitors to their Pro600/700s. It needs a 12 pin deutsche to DB9 adapter which you should be able to get from your Trimble guy. The DB9 plugs into the bottom of your pro600 and you need to select gos type as RS232 in the gps tab in the pro600.
As for viewing your data my preference in FieldView but I’m pretty biased (I work for that company ;) ). SMS is another popular option and I’m sure there are others. | |
