Southeast Colorado | You picking or chopping? I assume the latter.
Sure not ready for any freeze over here. I've got knee high feed that needs more time. I'm getting old but I recall it freezing somewhere around September 25th in 1995. That's the earliest freeze I can remember. September 8/9 would be ridiculously early.
Do you have any fond memories of early frosts that predate mine in our area?
