Do you have a 9 or 10 foot bagger Nick? Our theoretical length of cut is .75 and going in the vast majority is sub inch in length. when you get rodent holes do they spread the length of the bag or stay contained to the site of the hole?
We did go 2-5 inches above the tunnel trying to pack it tighter and still had the random spoilage, our bag guy blamed it on over stretching since we exceeded the 21.5 ground to ground measurement
