I'm talking specifically corn, but I have been buying mostly Pioneer, Channel, and Croplan recently. We don't push fungicide that hard,, we have high fertility ground. Last year Pioneer did a lot better than Croplan and Pioneer seems more drought resistant. However, 2018 didn't matter everything yielded the same. I guess I'll find out how everything does this fall, but now I got a Beck's guy knocking on my door. He's nice too and the seed is a lot cheaper. I'm not going for bushels, I'm going for the best return on my investment and sometimes you can get away with Croplan or more generic genetics. So any suggestions?

Croplan Genetics using information from 150 answer plot locations to place hybrids. Very good agronomic information to place the right hybrid on the right piece of ground. |
