NW Iowa | Pick its foot up and confirm, probably foot rot, but could have a stone or nail in it.
Wet weather after dry weather causes more of them. The dry weather causes the feet to crack then wet weather makes the mud that gets in there. Something created a break in the soft tissue between the toes and bacteria got in there.
Usually 60cc of la 300 will clear it up.
Do the work and inspect the cow, or get out of the business, there is no easy button.
I get them in a chute and pick the feet up, clean, confirm, soak with Iodine (betadine if you have it), and then administer shots.
