Spring cover crop. Planted late may, went all of june and july with no rain, looked like pineapples...caught 1.5" total in two rains, was just starting to look decent then got around 2 inches (WAG) at 90 mph with hail(35% defoliation on this field) on august 10. Not a drop since. About 1/3 milkline so rain supposedly coming monday will still do good. its not 200 bpa, but I think its 160. Amazing.
