I agree with what your are saying but for this setup but I’m mainly interested in roller vs hammer for feeding cattle- knowing I will be in wet and dry corn.

The HMC has a very limited window and it would likely go in a small bunker or bale silo. The dry corn would be a 2-10 semi loads at a time- less than a months supply ground into a commodity shed. Most of this would be custom work for neighbors so the mill needs to be mobile, PTO driven and have decent capacity.

With a little fab work, I can have a hammer mill that fits the bill but was curious if the roller would be better suited for my needs. If so, that steers me down a different path of how to buy or build my equipment.
