Kettle Moraine, WI | Had a phone driven over on a highway by a semi tractor trailer. Was in basic case and only the screen broken. Wouldn't have believed it if I didn't see it.
Did learn few things:
Don't leave phone anywhere on truck even if you won't forget.
Some credit card have good phone insurance of monthly plan paid with that card
Google One auto backup of calls messages screenshots pictures plus the Google contacts, Gmail, and apps backup. Makes phone switch easy as long as you know your password.
Screen replacement places can change screen in 45 minutes.
