Wheels give less surface contact to put more wgt per unit area, that's why they are superior to tracks for packing. We take that one step further by inflating tires to a good 30 psi so they don't squat, reducing contact area. You know the difference when taking one on the highway. The vibration of each cleat hitting the road at even modest road speed will shake you up.



True. We air up our 800’s to 30lbs for packing. But you can’t drive in road.
