I find Rockport shoes to be very lightweight and durable.  I have a pair of Chukka boots that I wear around my house.   I looked at the Rockport website. They have loafers on their website, but I think the price looks a little "salty".  You can buy Rockport at/thru Super Shoes, and the prices are not nearly as high.  (The selection is probably not as broad either.) If you look at the Rockport website and find a style that you like, you might be able to find that style thru another seller.  Just a thought.
