I added hydraulic drive and 20/20 rowflow to my SB planter last year.  I used the EZ guide + for GPS signal.  It did a very poor job of turning the drive off and on consistently, even after several calibration attempts.  I am thinking it is because the EZ Guide + is 1 Hz and I am covering too much ground each second at 6mph.  I found a used EZ Guide 500 for sale for $800, but without a globe.  The dealer said I can use the EZ Guide + globe and it will send a 5 Hz signal to the 20/20.  

1. Will going to 5Hz WASS help? 
2. Will I get 5Hz from a 500 with the original EZ Guide + globe?
