I'm thinking the flywheel/ bull gear is reversible, brand new wear surface on the gears.
And that you could send a freeman back to get rebuilt.
Their 3 tie would make a straw bale you couldn't hardly get a hook into-- or lift!
Neat system to pick them, put in a package you squeezed from side, could set on a truck, could stack two packages high on ground.
Had a " dispensers"? Type deal, you could set one package of straw on one side, hay on the other, it would "unstack" them and sent up conveyor to tub grinder in whatever ratio you set.
Most work was pulling strings as they went by.
