God's Country (N.C. Ia) | Got 1.04 live here at the barn this week. Up penny and a half from last week. Still not island shopping, but up this time of year is about completely opposite from the usual direction. I’m at least a little optimistic for next year’s profit potential, but I’m usually wrong! On a personal note, this was the first year in all of my cattle feeding history, including when I custom fed steins, that I actually got to farm some of the ground that I spread the manure on, so now I can finally say, “at least I got the ****!”, when I didn’t make any money on the steers. | |
