We are located about 25 miles south of the Canadian boarder and the Province of Ontario. We have been extremely dry. We have rain gauges in 3 different locations about 12 Miles apart. In one area since planting first week of May, we have only received a little over 3 inches of rainfall. When watching the weather radar it looks like the Ottawa Valley has been receiving alot of precipitation.
Was wondering if any AgTalkers in that area could chime in with some info.TIA
We got 1/2” today and that puts us at 4.5” since May 1st and the only rain since July 16. ~50 miles west of Watertown. It’s very dry but I wish I could say it was abnormal but it really isn’t. |
