The wiring harness goes thru the top tube on the header as it crosses the feeder house.  Mice love it in there.  You can also take the cover off of the control box on the right hand end under the snout and see if the wiper arm is moving and check the contacts.

Edit: Put the header lockup in place when working on the control box so you can't lower the header onto yourself accidentally!
