| Storm took out an old wire crib at a friend's farm. I helped with the cleanup so was allowed to surgically remove the top hatch. Later, with his permission (and participation), I removed a section of the Meyer elevator in a wood crib. Was no picnic to remove all the racoon poop without damaging the rust. Funny how a good thick rust 'patina' is about the most fragile finish there is. A good soak with Watco and a couple months drying before I could build this. Carcass is wheatboard.
