Subject: RE: Treating Hogs with front leg issues

Mycoplasma hyosynoviae infection can produce lameness in Pigs. Some herds never see clinical signs and some are plagued with it, especially in early finisher or when introducing new breeding stock. Infection of the pig by the tiny bacteria, Mycoplasma hyosynoviae, can be a real frustration for producers.

From article in National Hog Farmer:

Have used Denegard-CTC for 2 weeks after placing pigs. Will need VFD from vet.
