They eat the leaves I believe in the larval stage.The easy way but donkey slow...bucket pure glyphosate,good pair rubber arm length gloves,cotton glove on the outside,dip hand slide up milk weed,repeat and dip as needed,drip will be minor.PS,,,,probably chuck the cotton gloves post use ,,hehe
