| Mine caught fire baling straw last year. A 5# dry extinguisher on the tractor allowed me to suppress the fire enough to reach the water extinguisher mounted on the front of the baler. I got the fire mostly out but ran to the house and finished the job with the water hose. One extinguisher might have allowed me to unhook the tractor and two wouldn't have been enough if I was working somewhere without a hose. I have the same setup on the combine. Dry chemical extinguisher in the cab and a water extinguisher mounted to the ladder but have not had to use these.
