Beresford, SD | My double crop forage sorghum after oatlage planted the same day as yours is very thirsty! Spread 60 units of N yesterday and it didn’t rain......it ain’t gonna grow much until it does. Mines 5 leaf and 3-12” tall.........variable.....it needs a drink. I can see every tile line on that 40 acres......it’s double in height over the lines, just need a drink to get the roots deeper and it’ll go wild. I seeded only 80k.......if we catch a rain it’ll be direct chopped once in October. Planted a 95 BMR semi dwarf.
