NWIL | Basically you are finding the inherent issues with an auger head. In right conditions they are fine. In Alberta, especially your area, well you don’t see great conditions a lot of the time. I’ve been up there, I’ve done that.
You do t want to hear it, but draper is your solution. Your combine, and your mind, will be much better for it. You are in go when you can, as hard as you can, territory. You need to be sending bushels to the truck instead of babying along an auger head and leaving more grain at exposure to being graded feed. | |
