Are you wanting to pull a 3 wheel cart or a 4 wheel steer cart ? If its a 1600 4WS cart, it will work fine. I have another model kinze planter and that hitch is rated at that number, and I have pulled a 1600 4WS cart for years with zero problems. A 4 WS cart puts half the side load on a hitch that a 3 wheel cart would.
