Some of the newer Kinze planters use Vansco seed tube sensors, along with shaft rotations sensors, and ground drive sensors. I am not knowledgable enough to know when or how that changed from DJ sensors, but I have run across this. The only way that I know how to differentiate is that the Vansco seed sensors have blue weatherpack connectors and they are shrouds as opposed to towers like DJ sensors. My guess, and it is just that, is that the Vansco series sensors has to do with the MuxBus system that Kinze has gone with, and probably relates to the KPM series of seed tube monitors. The only reason I say that is because of the way the AgLeader developed the PPM module, and it's a replacement for the KPM I, II, and III. Again, that is my speculation and I havn't had much time to research that.
