| Try this first.
Complaint:Internal Backlight on the GreenStar or SeedStar Display goes from full bright to Dim when in use.
Problem:The Electrical circuit for the Backlight shuts down due to too much current being drawn by the circuit.
Solution:Go to Setup – GreenStar Display and set the backlight intensity from 9 to 8. The higher the number is the brighter the screen. A backlight set to 9 draws too much current and causes the backlight to go dim. Once you get the backlight set to a number below 9, adjust the lighting using the contrast button at the top right hand corner of the display
