Subject: Chisel plow lift cylinder problems

I have a very well used Wilrich 4411 cutter chisel. The lift cylinders are plumbed in series. The second in series will settle a good inch when the lift side remote is done being strokes. When you lower the cylinder and retract the piston the entire way the same remote will extend the piston a good 3 inches. You then cannot retract the piston unless you extend it completely and then retract it. It is repeatable using other remotes on the tractor.

Thoughts? Bad internal seal in one of the cylinders?
