Best day we ever had harvesting sunflowers was when there was a very light snow falling. There was very little dust and the sample in the tank was extremely clean.
Not sure I'd recommend waiting on a snow to harvest.................but if I could always have what we had that day I'd probably grow more flowers for sure.
