If I was either of your neighbors, you helped load a couple wagons and 30 bales was pay. Especially when it goes to your daughters lawn vs selling your 30 bales for profit.
If I were the baler or straw owner, I wouldn’t expect a thing. If I was on the receiving end, I would feel I owed some favors. Wouldn’t lose sleep over it, but would for sure find opportunities to repay.
