It appears not. I think and will happily be corrected that Deere know where it ends up because they can see it.

You would think they could shut the systems down or block the signal to systems that are marked as stolen, but I don't know how they communicate back and forth. But no doubt if you are in the business of stealing them, you also know how to circumvent these sort of things to allow them to work. Just like the more sophisticated car security systems still allow cars to get stolen.
