Subject: RE: Relay Cropping Soybeans in Wheat?

Clarke county, IA
I'm half tempted to try it with oats next year. Hiredman missed spraying few spots that had oats seeded this spring in customer's field, they planted beans through. Post sprayed them this week, beans had good stand and oats had headed out. Thinking about trying some without doing any special planters, plant oats early as possible then plant beans in them late April. Yield wouldn't be as high as if guy had proper planting setup for it, but for test I think it'd work fine.
