Subject: RE: finally rain

North of London
We got one too.

Last real rain here was June 10 with 22.5mm
Had a few little showers of 1-4 mm later in June but they would never be enough to soak in.

Yes corn especially is hurting here. Some areas it will not likely come back even with rain now, our land is heavy enough it is still holding on but those who pushed the conditions when planting remembering last year when it was too wet to plant before June have more of a problem from wrapped and gray looking corn.

So her is the evidence of our shower from the night before last.

BTW some good rains in and around London yesterday aft while i helped neighbour pack hay in bunk
Thunderheads from east to west including over London to the south
Heavy rain in Toronto with flooding but we never got a drop only sunshine and 34C temps drying the hay out quicker than they liked so it was getting pretty dry by the time we finished at 10:30 last night
