Training a pup is not so difficult if you start with a good stock dog. We are on our second one here that is now 7 mos. and it can be very rewarding watching your dog mature into something useful. Know what you want though before you buy one. Like if you want a head dog or a heal dog. Our older dog is a natural header that will heal when in a crowded pen and our pup is just a heal dog by nature that shows some ability to work the head when given the opportunity. Keeping them alive long enough to train them can be an issue for some. The really good ones usually survive at least one unfortunate experience in their lifetime. Our older dog survived a conibear trap.
