Do you have insurance?
Are you far enough south to insure double crops?
Plant some to get a plant date.
Save some for replanting.
Use them next year if they are not needed this year.
Easier to cut the straw, and place the seed below the straw, with dry soil.
Always good in that aspect when dry.
Always good to water them with several inches of rain afterwards.
