NW Washington
Is your stuff backed up on Google? I had a Android phone suddenly crap out and the when I powered up the replacement phone and checked in to my Google account almost everything showed up on the new phone. I was pretty amazed and pleased.

If the card you mention is a SIM card then that is for your cell service. The cut and paste describes the SIM card.

"What information is stored on a SIM card?
It does not matter if you are using an Android or Apple (AAPL) - Get Report phone. The SIM card has enough memory to typically store up to 250 contacts, some of your text messages and other information that the carrier who supplied the card can utilize."
