East central Indiana | I use roughly same mix on ground going to corn except I add 4 pounds of crimson clover instead of turnips and cut radish down to a pound or 2. I seed mine while harvesting soybeans from mid September till oct 10th my cutoff on annual rye. I love annual ryegrass in front of corn nothing better than planting corn into annual rye that is any where from couple inches tall to knee high. I have done annual rye in early season corn going to soybeans but prefer cereal rye mix because I can seed it later in season and get it established while harvesting. Also cereal rye does not break down as quick as annual and helps with weed suppression during soybeans. Costs on my annual rye mix are around 17 an acre. You will need to seed early if you are wanting benefit from radish. Pic below is planting corn into annual rye mix this spring.
