The first year I used liberty, I used 3#/ac AMS and cupped beans like you describe. The temperature was in the high 80's. Sales rep said cut the AMS back to 2#/ac. when its over 85 and sunny. The cupped beans at 3# pulled out of it and yielded fine.
Warrant w/Liberty will do the same thing. They look ugly for 5-7 days, but recover.
