Anyone sick of seeing  a news reported ask an interviewee a question, and the interviewee begins the answer with: "What I can tell you is this....."

It seems to be a common lead-in among people in government, but I don't think it is limited to government employees.

That kind of response just makes me wonder.... What is it that you know that you can't - or won't - tell me.
