| Year's ago I was talking to my aunt about something and she made the comment that they didn't have the money for a refrigerator when they first got married. I know they would cover the meat with the drippings or grease and set it in the cool root cellar until the next day and that they canned beef and used salt and sugar to cure and preserve pork. Does anyone know if they canned pork also? | |
