I had a blip with the ticker a month or so back, the GP didn't like what he saw on the EKG although my platelets and everything came back normal and showed no signs of a heart attack. Referred me to the cardiologist who then ran an ultrasound of the heart which clearly showed a strong heart still.
BUT, he wants to do a stress test to make double sure. Because I have psoriatic arthritis he wants to do the chemical test rather than the treadmill type test. It's a looooong test. Like 4 hours long.
Anyone had a chemical stress test done? What to expect? Am I going to feel like my heart is going crazy? Anything? I'm a little nervous about the whole thing but want to take care of my health at the same time. | |
