NW Iowa | I'm trying to eliminate reasons why my Raven 440 suddenly will not get a GPS signal from the hockey puck. In diagnostics the Raven reads satellite inactive so I changed the hockey puck with another identical puck that worked the last time I used it and the Raven still reads inactive. The GPS cable does have 12V power, the two lights built into the coax are lit up, the power light is green, the signal light red.
For the life of me I can't remember if the signal indicator light should be red or green when a signal is present. The last time I used this sprayer was two weeks ago and it popped into my head there might have been a satellite change on July 1st making the puck ineffective? If that is not the case the problem must be in the Raven itself. I'm just trying to eliminate all possibilities for failure before I send it in. I only have 30 acres of spot spraying left for this season with a herbicide that has some flexibility so I can run manual for that. | |
