| Nothing of significance. It was just impressive to me. We had our entire crew together, had flags flying proudly, and had fried chicken for supper. We had a very large crew that year and that was the only time we ever had fried chicken that year. Red, white, and blue jello as well. That meal was a work of art by those that did it.
Just made me proud to be an American in a strange sense. America at its finest. Had a couple guys from UK on the team and they enjoyed the day immensely. A sense of pride many in our country have lost. | |
