We got 8 tenths so was a blessing. Corn tasseling out. It went from wet planting around mud holes to almost too dry to plant in about two weeks. Like someone flipped a switch. We got all our beans planted but spots in some fields were laying in dust. Hopefully they are not rotted and the rain will bring them up. I'm kind of like the original poster in this thread in that it is just hard for me to be positive about this year. But our crops look far from perfect. Decent but not great. Hardly have a field that the corn is not drowned out in the terrace channels. John |
