Here are some pictures of corn planted into cereal rye stubble/volunteer rye cover  on 5/14. The 1st pic was taken on 5/30, the 2nd pic on 6/3 and last pic on 6/30. What i learned is that you don't want to look from the west end of the field facing east in the AM when the corn is young ( see the first two pictures ) , it will make you feel sick. LOL
