Milford, IL | Similar story here, my first year on the church board our pastor mentioned that a member of the congregation was in need of a refrigerator. I had a refrigerator that I did not need and volunteered to donate it, delivery included. It was mid summer, and when we arrived to deliver the fridge the elderly lady met us at the door and warned us loudly "I got cats!!!" My off the cuff response was 'smells like it' but I bit my tongue. The smell in that house made a livestock barn smell pleasant in comparison. | |
