SE Iowa | Pull up an oat chart and you can see the ride..
Its a combination of all you mentioned...along with low vol can get wild moves.. Small grains report is out or coming out ?...but I assume it had some bullish things in it to get wheat to turn around last nite.
Corn has been counter seasonal all year...counter seasonal moves are the most explosive. So 10% ? I have always kept 3.74 cz as a potential..I have another timing guy I listen to (he is pretty sharp) and concurs.
The spreads tell the story.. and been telling it for a long time...does't mean price goes up right away because cash had to clear.
