NC Iowa
I would say it can move until a good rain washes it into the soil. I've been damaged a few times. Never much of a yield lose. Last year it moved over a half mile into my field. I could see cupid leaves for awhile. We watched them all year and they seem to pull out of it just fine.

I have seen a field of extenz damage every soybean field in every direction of it(west, north, south east, and east). That is no exaggeration. It was the first year Extenz were out. So the next year a lot of farmers in my area bought Extenz beans just to avoid the hassle of dealing with the neighbor's drift(or what ever you call it). That is why I choose to not spray it. I bought Enlist beans this year. The Enlist can drift but it should vaporize after application.
