CoOp operator called me today on his way into work when he saw the streaks also. He apologized and told me it was a seal on one of the Y drops that was leaking in the middle of the machine where he couldn’t see it.

He acted like he was 99% sure it was about 1/2 a rows worth of product coming out of that leak. So not any sort of majority of the product. He said he came to within 20ish gallons on the total they loaded and used so I don’t think it needs re applied.

Going to flag some of the rows to compare ears this fall and talk to the manager about what I’m going to watch and see if he wants to do anything now or not.

Any other suggestions You all can offer?

Might for giggles pull some soil samples the width of the 60’ on a coupe areas near and away from the streaks to see if I see anything, but that’s likely not anything conclusive to be arguing about

Thanks
