Eastern Shore of MD | And that’s the mentality I feel like these companies want us to have.
$4 acre, couldn’t hurt...
Not giving you a hard time because I’ve said that in the past too. Talking with a salesman with a company like that who we knew from previous employment, he said he was speaking with upper management about this new product and just mentioned how it ‘had to be $x / ac or cheaper for it to sell.’
He continued on and that statement always stuck with me because if it worked as it should, price per acre would be set by roi per acre, not just an arbitrary number. Cost $20 but returns $35? Sounds good. It seems they make it cheap enough where , when at the end of the year, you say ‘maybe it worked, maybe it didn’t but it didn’t cost me much’.
And I’m sure there are some products that really do work but I’m burned out on all this fru-fru juice. | |
