My area changed after the farm programs changed in 1995. We were all wheat up until that point. A lot of milo went in and then switched to beans and now we plant corn. Prior to that we were stuck in low yielding wheat as it was all continuous wheat. Once we broke that cycle and began to rotate is when the wheat yields took off.
